What to ask each word

Verbs

Ask tense/aspect, voice, mood, person, and number. What action is happening, and how is it being presented?

Nouns

Ask case, gender, number, and declension. Who or what is involved, and what job does it have?

Participles

Ask both verb questions and adjective questions, then identify function: adjectival, substantival, or adverbial.
